Mike LeBlanc's 2022 NYC Marathon Fundraising Page

After completing the Boston Marathon and Falmouth Road Race with Tedy's Team in 2022, I'm back! This time, I'll be heading down to the Big Apple to complete the 2023 NYC Marathon. I couldn't be more excited to have another opportunity to support this great cause and be a member of this team again!
Last year, with the help of all of you, I raised over $12,000 and the team raised over $700K! With that money, Tedy's Team partnered with MGH to open the Tedy's Team Center of Excellence in Stroke Recovery in Charlestown, MA. This new facility supports the advancement of research in stroke recovery, educates Greater Boston about the warning signs of stroke, and provides rehabilitative care to stroke survivors free of charge!
If you were one of the generous people to help me raise money last year, you know that I run in memory of my grandparents John and Mary Prior, both of whom suffered strokes in their lives. My grandfather suffered his before I was born, but my mom often tells stories of how, as a toddler, I would join him in his physical therapy exercises as he fought to recover from his stroke and other health issues.
My grandmother's stroke occurred when I was in high school and although she survived, she was never the same physically or mentally. Watching the strong, independent woman, who played a major role in raising me, lose her ability to walk and talk was devastating for me and the rest of my family. I run for this team so that others don't have to go through what she did.
Stroke and heart disease has impacted my family and I know I'm not alone. Please help in supporting this great cause by donating whatever you can so that we can continue to remind others of the signs of stroke and give survivors of stroke and heart disease the resources to make a full recovery just like Tedy Bruschi did. Thank you all for your support!
