Welcome to My Personal Page

Thank you for visiting my page and supporting Tedy's Team!
I am honored to be apart of Tedy's Team. I will be running for Tedy's Team in honor of my hero, my best friend, and my angel, my Dad, Paul Machado.
In January 2005 at just 46 years old my Dad suffered a stroke. I was just 9 years old, I was unaware of the signs of a stroke or even what a stroke was. Just a few weeks later I would learn that a New England hero, Tedy Bruschi would suffer a stroke as well at the age of 31.
After months of recovery my Dad never let this major health set back define who he was. My Dad continued being my brother, John, my sister, Tori and my number one fan along side my amazing Mom, Helene. Whether he was coaching softball/ baseball, standing in freezing cold hockey rinks, waking up at 6AM on Saturdays for field crew up at the Braintree soccer fields or sitting in a gym watching a gymnastics meet, he was always there. He was deeply involved in the Braintree community and loved giving back to everyone around him. One of his biggest sayings was "if you are doing something good or performing well, you will know because others will tell
you.. no need to bang your own drum."
Our lives changed forever when we lost our hero on February 11, 2017 when my Dad at the age of 59 passed away suddenly from a heart attack. I vowed from that day to continue my Dad's legacy of giving back to the people around me.
The mission of Tedy's Team is to raise awareness for stroke and heart disease while supporting survivors on their journey, giving them a means for a comeback!
Please join me in continuing my Dad's legacy by giving back and donating to help in the fight against heart disease and stroke. Even the smallest amount can make a difference!
Thank you so much for your support and words of encouragement through this amazing journey!! #wesurvivewerun
